Six schools enjoyed the annual Secondary Schools Swimming Gala last Wednesday.

Harris Church of England Academy School Sports Partnership welcomed the teams to its annual Level 2 School Games Swimming Gala, with Ashlawn, Bilton, Harris, Lawrence Sheriff, Princethorpe and Rugby High taking part.

Boys’ and girls’ teams competed in year 7, year 8 and year 9 in order to qualify to represent Eastern Warwickshire at the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Level 3 School Games competition.

Year 7 Boys - Lawrence Sheriff School

Year 7 Girls - Ashlawn School

Year 8 Boys - Bilton School

Year 8 Girls - Ashlawn School

Year 9 Boys - Lawrence Sheriff School

Year 9 Girls - Rugby High School

Thanks go to the ten young leaders from Rugby High School whose efficiency helped this event to run smoothly.

The level 3 competition will also be held at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre on Monday, March 14 and the School Sports Partnership wishes all of the qualifying schools the best of luck!
