Perry lifts second British title

The Kenilworth player reached the final with straightforward 3-0 victories over Georgie Ingham (11-7, 11-7, 11-4), Alicia Mead (11-2, 11-6, 11-4) and Kirsty West (11-4, 11-5, 11-7).

Perry maintained her impressive form in the final, winning the first game 11-3 against Carrie Ramsey, who succeeded her as European junior champion.

Perry then took the second 11-9 before Ramsey staged something of a recovery in the third, racing into a 6-1 lead before taking it 12-10.

However, it proved a temporary blip for Perry, who edged the fourth 11-9 to lift her second British title.
