Parkrun runners are pretty in pink
A tutu-clad Tawney started her first circuit at 7.30am and continued at 30-minute intervals before being joined by a 177-strong Leamington parkrun field at 9am.
The race was started by Leamington C&AC volunteer Marion Childs, who hung around at the end so runners could have their photos taken with her Olympic torch.

“Coming in after the third lap was fabulous as I was greeted by a throng of runners, most of who donned their pink outfits to support Breast Cancer Research,” said Tawney.
“It was wonderful having such fun, surrounded by fantastic people and raising money at the same time.”
Tawney’s next fundraising feat will be the Bupa Great North Run in September.
