Nagra holds his nerve to net a hat-trick of short corners

Bournville were first to threaten, with an early penalty corner well saved by Elliot Rider.

Bournville were growing in confidence and created several short corners which were well dealt with by the Khalsa defence.

After a poor first half, Khalsa, inspired by Gurminder Ghattaura, began the second period with better intensity.

A piercing run from Stuart Gooderham was then ended illegally, with Nagra putting the resultant short corner into the opposite corner.

Spurred on by this shift in momentum, Mandeep Sandhar and Amritpal Atwal linked up to set up David Harris at the top of the circle for Khalsa’s third.

A slip from Sean Robinson allowed Bournville to reduce the deficit against the run of play and it needed a stunning save from Rider to deny the visitors an equaliser.
