British title for Stevens

Warwick sidecar racer Jamie Stevens has won the AMCA British sidecar motocross championship alongside passenger Neill Frary (Telford).

The series is run over 12 rounds around the country and features a timed practice for gate positions followed by three 20-minute races.

The duo, competing on a Dutch WHT handmade chassis with a 660 Husaberg-tuned engine, won 29 of their 34 races (one race was cancelled).

Next year, the duo, who only teamed up last winter, hope to compete in the IMBA European Championships.

Anyone interested in sponsoring the duo, should contact Stevens’ father Graham on 07752 489308.
