Young artists-in-the-making learnt printmaking techniques from professional artist Susie Turner at a workshop at Leamington Art Gallery at the Pump Room.

After creating their own drawings, the seven youngsters who participated in the three-hour class transfered their artworks onto plastic and copper plates, using a variety of mark-making techniques. The plates were then inked and printed in colour on to dampened paper using an etching press.Cambridgeshire-based artist Susie, a member of the Printmakers Council, regularly exhibits her work around the country and abroad and is an established tutor of printmaking.To find out more about her, visit susieturner.com
