MTV’s Ex on the Beach star duo, Joss Mooney and Rogan O’Connor joined Sam’s family and fitness fanatics at the new gym on Wood Street to take on a series of physical challenges.

Personal trainer and Life on Marbs TV show star, Joss, said: “Rogan and I were honored to be asked to help out at such a touching occasion. It meant a lot for us to be part of the fundraiser and we feel privileged to have been asked, our hearts go out to Sam’s loved ones at this truly difficult time.”

If the Rugby gym raises £5,000, the nationwide company will match it.

“We managed to raise a grand total of £569 in memory of Sam, which we will add to the £5,000 total we aim to reach.

“On behalf of everyone here we’d like to give our condolences to Sam’s family and friends.”

In an exclusive interview last week, Sam’s mother Karen told the Advertiser: “Sam’s last words to me that morning were ‘bye mum, love you’. He never failed to say he loved me, no matter what.

“I can’t believe he won’t get to hold his little girl. He was so excited about becoming a dad and I know he would of been amazing.”

Two fundraising pages have been set up in memory of Sam, one by a family friend and one by Xercise4Less.
