Girls in the school choir have already won plaudits for their performance of Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and are now warming up their vocal chords for the new work O! Speak by Warwick composer Jonathan Clarke on March 25 and 26.

The eight minute choral piece has been inspired by the works of Shakespeare and features lines from Romeo & Juliet, Love’s Labours Lost and some of his sonnets.

It will also be in the programme when the choir performs three concerts during a tour of Italy in the Easter holidays.
