Wine tasting for Safeline charity

A WINE tasting evening will raise funds for a charity which supports the victims of rape and sexual abuse.

Safeline, which covers Warwickshire and Coventry, will host the evening at the Court House in Jury Street, Warwick, on Friday November 11 from 7pm.

Lindsey Lavender, operations manager at Safeline said: “Our charity has been part of the local community for the past 17 years.

“We offer counselling and other services and an evening help line, which last year alone received over 6,777 calls.

“We need to keep these vital services open and we heavily rely on PR events and donations, which is why we hope people will come along to our wine tasting evening and help support this very worthwhile cause.”

Tickets cost £12, which includes wine and nibbles, and are available from Warwick tourist information centre in Jury Street or at Safeline’s offices in Priory Road.
