Triple celebration at Kingsley School

The school in Beauchamp Avenue, Leamington, held a celebratory to mark the launch of its Preparatory School, which coincidentally took place on the same day as the school’s 127th anniversary and the birthday of deputy mayor Cllr Yvonne Moore, who was the guest of honour at the event.

Governors and past pupils of the newly-named prep school joined Cllr Moore at an assembly led by the school’s headteacher Anne Hornsby.

Miss Hornsby said: “The occasion of The Kingsley School’s 127th birthday was an ideal opportunity to celebrate our past and look forward to the future with a change of name from Junior to Preparatory School.

“This informs the local and wider community that our pupils, aged from three to 11, are well prepared for the next stage of their education.”
