Trees of light to shine once again

Through its Trees of Light Campaign, The Rotary Club of Leamington Spa is inviting people to dedicate a light to loved ones by making a donation to The Myton Hospices.

Each year The Myton Hospices in Warwick, Rugby and Coventry care for 4,000 people through patient care in their hospices and through patient and family support services through Myton at Home.

All this is made possible by the generosity of the public.

Leamington Rotary president Grahame Snape said: “We are immensely pleased that our Trees of Light are supporting The Myton Hospices.

“The importance of their practical and supportive work in helping sufferers and their families cope with their terminal illnesses cannot be over-emphasised.”

The Trees of Light enable people to remember relatives or friends who will not be with them this Christmas, who may have died or who may be living away or working abroad.

Lists of their names will updated weekly and displayed in Leamington and Whitnash at the town hall, in the Royal Priors, in St Margaret’s church porch and in Whitnash Library from the switch on right through Christmas and the New Year.

Explanatory pamphlets containing donation forms will be available at these locations and in shops around the towns, in addition to the donation form printed in the Courier each week.
