Three-year sentence for 22-year-old drug dealer

A 22-year-old Leamington man has been sentenced to three years in prison after he admitted to four Class A drugs offences.

At Warwick Crown Court on Friday Kieran Collis, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply and two counts of possessing heroin with intent to supply.

He was sentenced to a total of 32 months for the drugs charges and given an additional four months custodial sentence, to run consecutively, for breaching a community order for a previous burglary offence committed in July 2012.

Pc Rob Garrison of Leamington’s Acquisitive Crime Team said: “Warwickshire Police are working hard to take Class A drugs off the streets and this conviction is a step in the right direction. Yet again this gives a clear message to criminals that we will bring them to justice.”
