Theft and speeding new priorities for Kenilworth police
Theft and speeding are the main crimes to be tackled by police after the latest Kenilworth Community Forum.
From June to September, Kenilworth’s Safer Neighbourhood Team will patrol the town centre along Warwick Road at least 15 times, targeting shoplifters and deterring antisocial behaviour.
Similar patrols will also be conducted in Abbey Fields, Guy Road Park and Kenilworth Common to prevent antisocial behaviour.
During the same time period, a minimum of five speed patrols will take place on Dalehouse Lane and Red Lane in Burton Green by using a speed enforcement van.
