School pupils raise money for Myton

WARWICK Preparatory School raised over £2,450 for The Myton Hospices this Christmas through a variety of fundraising activities.

Nearly 450 pupils from Reception through to Year 6 designed their own Christmas cards, and parents were then given the option of buying their child’s design, the proceeds of the sale amounted to nearly £800. They also raised money from collections at the carol services and concerts at the school, and Year 6 pupils visited the Warwick hospice to perform on hand bells.

Headteacher Mark Turner said: “We are thrilled to be able to raise funds for The Myton Hospices.”
