“We had 12 runners representing us in this year’s marathon and we were delighted with the times and significant sponsorship that Huw, Lee and Melissa have achieved. Last year the London Marathon raised us a total of £17,000 and early figures seem to indicate that we will beat that figure this year. Racing Welfare is racing’s own people Charity and it was great to see the three runners, who are all so heavily involved in the sport, supporting the lads and lasses behind the scenes who make a day at the races possible.”
