Runner is raring to Get A-Head

PROPERTY company directors have joined forces to support a man’s marathon attempt which will raise funds for a head and neck disease charity.

Edward Bromwich of EHB Residential, his brother Tom of Bromwich Hardy and Richard Hill of Heritage Property bid £3,000 for a place in this year’s London Marathon in an auction at the Get A-Head Charitable Trust’s annual ball.

Bromwich Hardy surveyor Iain Critchlow, a keen runner who has supported the charity before, will take part in the race in April.

Mr Critchlow said: “I wasn’t going to miss out on the chance to run The London Marathon.

“I’ve always wanted to run it, so I am ecstatic to have the opportunity thanks to the guys.

“Knowing that I will be running for such an amazing charity will give me all the inspiration I need to get over the finishing line.

“We hope, with everyone’s support, to raise a lot of money.”

The Bromwich brothers have a personal connection to Get A-Head, with Tom currently the chairman of the trust, while Mr Hill is a strong supporter.
