Rewarded for ten years of caring

CELEBRATIONS were in full swing at a Leamington care agency as three members of staff celebrated their tenth anniversary with the company.

Care Bureau directors John and Georgine Dunster’s Christmas drinks and mince pie drop-in day at the firm’s Waterloo Place headquarters served as a double celebration when they held a surprise presentation to Carol Ledbrooke, Sarah Castle and June Sangha, who have all worked at the company for ten years.

Domiciliary care area manager Carol Ledbrooke joined the company as a part-time care assistant to fit in with family commitments but quickly rose through the ranks to her current role, responsible for more than 300 care staff across Northampton, Telford, Stratford and more recently Oxfordshire and Rugby.

Mother-of-two Sarah Castle started her career at The Care Bureau as a part-time administrator, also to fit her work around family life, but having worked in a variety of roles is now PA to directors.

And healthcare assistant and mother of ten June Sangha is well-known among the people she looks after for carrying out all her care calls around Leamington and Kenilworth on her moped, no matter how bad the weather.

Director Georgine Dunster said: “We value the commitment and loyalty of all our excellent staff and recognise they are the building blocks of our success.

“We are delighted to be able to recognise long service and hope we will have many more of these presentations to do.”
