Marie Ashford, Home Start South Warwickshire’s scheme manager, said: "On behalf of the children and their families who benefitted from this grant I would like to say a huge thank you to the Warwickshire county councillors who gave funding to this project.

"At a time when families were struggling and feeling isolated the grant allowed us to provide some essential resources. And a big thank you to our wonderful volunteers who worked hard to pack and deliver the play parcels."

Warwickshire County Councillors’ Grant Fund is aimed at community and voluntary organisations. The fund provides each county councillor with a pot of money to support small-scale projects within their division.
