The Kenilworth Lions are determined to bring back their 'Grand Show' after it has been cancelled two years running.

Last Saturday (June 13) should have been the day of the Kenilworth Lions' Grand Show in Abbey Fields, which like many other events, was cancelled this year because of the pandemic.

Last year's event was also cancelled because of the poor weather and ground conditions.

The Kenilworth Lions were said they were grateful nevertheless to Kenilworth Mayor Richard Dickson for going to Abbey Fields at the time the event opening was planned, to meet with Lion President Graham Pemberton and Grand Show Chair Paul Daniels to express his appreciation for what the Lions do for Kenilworth residents.

Next year the Lions are determined that the Grand Show will be back, bigger and better.
