There will also be food and drink available with contactless ordering and delivery.

Jamie Turner from Warwick Castle said: "We are supremely excited to be one of the first venues in the UK to celebrate a return to public entertainment following a pandemic which has turned the world on its head.

"Our screens will be positioned on the pageant field and allow the public to remain safe and isolated in the bubble of their car whilst enjoying popular films in the spectacular setting of a medieval fortress.

"Given the public's significant desire to return to shared entertainment we expect to be inundated so the public should book early to avoid disappointment."
