The northbound carriageway of the A46 Kenilworth bypass will be closed from 8pm to 6am every night up until Sunday December 6, and both sides of the A45 Stonebridge highway will be closed from Monday December 7 to Sunday December 13, again from 8pm to 6am.

Road surfacing will be carried out on the A45 Stonebridge Highway, the A46 Kenilworth Bypass and the slip road to Stivichall junction, which is currently being widened.

The closures will also allow for the installation of street lighting, erection of road signs and the removal of temporary concrete barriers.

Highways England project manager Paul Nagra said: “We have planned the closures to take place overnight, from 8pm until 6am, when traffic flows are at their lowest.

“The closures are required to ensure the safety of both the workforce and the travelling public while these works are being carried out.”

Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.
