Outstanding achievements
OUTSTANDING achievements by pupils at Kineton High School during the year 2010-11 were celebrated at an awards ceremony at which David Moorcroft OBE presented shields and prizes.
As well as awards that recognised achievement in subjects and tutor groups there were a number of special awards for individual achievements.
Mr Moorcroft, a former world record holding runner, presented the awards and spoke about the Olympic values of respect, excellence and friendship and told stories emphasising the importance of ambition, determination and achievement for us all.
