Vitriolic attack was uncalled for
His reference to. Sir Dudley as Dud, and I quote: “something (sic) that no longer works or serves any useful function,” was particularly spiteful.
Sir Dudley took his defeat at the 1997 General Election, which ended almost 30 years as Tory MP for Warwick and Leamington, with dignity and good grace, qualities which Mr Reynolds, judging from the tone of his letter, would appear to lack.
