Venture support is appreciated
It was good to read your article by Oliver Williams (Courier June 27) regarding Bath Place Community Venture and to know that Bath Place is getting support from our councillors, local MP Chris White and many local people who want Leamington to have a community centre.
There are a number of organisations in Leamington working to help the poor and disadvantaged. There is always more that can be done.
Leamington has a very diverse community including poor young families, the young, the old and a student population who are often lonely. There are also drug addictions and mental health issues.
Hopefully Leamington can be seen to have a community centre where the local people have a building to meet their needs.
