Time for non-dog owners to bite back

I politely informed a woman about this and was rudely told ‘’dogs have the same rights as people’’.

Clearly this woman shares the same reading ability as her dog and did not/could not read the notices at both ends of the gardens which tells owners to keep their pets on leads.

The gardeners work tirelessly to provide Leamington with gardens which are the envy of many towns. Let’s keep it that way without dogs running amok over the flowerbeds.

May I also remind dog owners that while their mutts are allowed to be off the lead in Victoria Park, they must be under control.

My new-born daughter was in a pram in the play park when two huge dogs bounded over and almost knocked it over.

Luckily the dogs ran off whimpering after I kicked dirt into their faces. I only wish I could have done the same to their owners.

Be warned reckless dog owners, keep your mutts under control and on a lead when ordered to.
