The daftest thing I’ve heard so far
I’m sure the daftest thing we have heard this year is the council wanting to build new offices outside the Spa Centre, contravening all their own rules and regulations and even commonsense.
What damage will it cause to the Spa Centre? Parking, lighting, congestion etc. What is wrong with their existing offices?
Maybe the vastly underused town hall just around the corner would be just too easy? What about all the empty premises around the town?
Still it’s only taxpayers’ money. Everything else is being cut to the bone so why not splash out? Who is responsible for this decision?
