Roads and paths should be clear
If you drive anywhere in Warwickshire you will see that the trees and bushes have been allowed to grow over the roads and across pedestrian pavements.
This presents a real danger to children walking to school being forced onto the road and into the path of oncoming traffic. The same applies to mothers with push chairs and disabled people in wheel chairs or scooters.

Hide AdCars, lorries and buses are forced to avoid the trees and bushes that intrude into the carriageway by moving into the middle of the road. This presents a hazard to traffic coming in the opposite direction.
Sooner or later there are going to be serious accidents.
While being aware that the cuts are a factor in the service or lack of service the council provide, there are red lines and safe access to the Queen’s highway is such a red line.
Local council politicians and council officials should be aware that under the Highways Act 1980 it is an offence to wilfully obstruct the free passage along a highway, and this is the situation we have.
