Only adding to traffic congestion
Much has been made of the proposed redevelopment of the Ford foundry site (on the corner of Princes Drive and Old Warwick Road), but I wonder what consideration has been given to the increased traffic that this will inevitably create?
Anyone who has tried to visit the retail park at the weekend will know how congested the roundabout near the foundry can become, with traffic queueing along the Myton Road and other approach roads, making it impossible for local residents to leave their drives.
And on the subject of traffic hold-ups, when is the council going to do something about the flooding under the railway bridge on Princes Drive? I have lived in Warwick for 30 years and the dip in the road there has been prone to flooding ever since I can remember. - Dale Fittes, Myton Road, Warwick.
