More should sample our new-look theatre
Attending a performance of Oh What a Lovely War last Saturday at the Royal Spa Centre, I was delighted not only by the refurbished theatre but also by a really talented company, the Theatre Workshop.
The management and the district council deserve to be congratulated on the recent refurbishment – comfortable seating in a vastly improved auditorium and a more open and welcoming foyer.
Such a pity so few took the opportunity to enjoy the performance. Five members of the company, who were not only first rate musicians but quality actors and singers, made for a thoroughly enjoyable and moving evening. - Peter Bailey, via email.
