Grave state of resting place
I read with interest the article on Sidney Flavel and his son in the Courier (January 2, Looking Back). The family were an important part of the history of Leamington.
Having taken part in a walk around Leamington Cemetery during Heritage Open Weekend in September it was obvious from the neglected state of the grave of Sidney Flavel that sadly his importance and status is not remembered so well where he lies.
