Delighted that Shades has been refused
Having been against Shades nightclub having a licence for adult entertainment, I am delighted to read that it yet again it has been denied.
It is not right that women are being marketed as commodities for a bunch of quite frankly, sad individuals and to put a wad of cash in the owners’ pockets.
It is not appropriate to have a club in Old Town as your commentator defending the club said for the ‘John Lewis and business set’. There would be an outrage if in North Leamington this type of venue was allowed to open and according to the club spokesperson, this seems to be the majority of its clientele! - Jodie Wiltshire, Old Town, Leamington.
