Changes to petition is underhanded

I could not believe that the government could be so underhand, as to state that the petition against HS2 has to now be on its website, for it to be debated if it reached over 100,000.

It has now reached over 50,000 on the stop HS2 petition and it has possibly another 50,000 on paper. Mr Cameron stated when elected that any petition with over 100,000 signatures would go to a debate. There was no stipulations or restrictions. The fact that they are descriminating against all who have no computer or unable to use one is disgusting to say the least. I have written to my MP about this and hope that others do too.How can they say that it is democratic? I have only had one for 12 months, many just cannot afford one at this time. They just don’t live in the same world.

They seem to be also intent on changing the planning laws to enable them to go ahead destroying the countryside. Many are buying land in the expectation of making a lot of money. Those that can afford it will benefit if this happens of course not those who care about the countryside. - Name and address supplied.
