Better than the West End at The Loft
After attending Rent at the Loft Theatre on Monday night, I feel moved to write this email. I honestly think this was the highest quality local production I have seen, and quite possibly the best ever piece of musical theatre I’ve seen in the UK - I enjoyed it more than the 2003 West End production. The cast of 16 and the musicians were excellent throughout, and made the highly complex songs seem easy.
Congratulations to artistic director Tim Willis, musical director Matt Flint, and everyone else involved for pulling off this theatrical feat - I take my hat off to you! How lucky we are to have the Loft on our doorstep. - Bruce Knight, Kennan Avenue, Leamington.
