Apologies for lack of faith in councillors
I would be pleased if you would print an apology in your letters column on my behalf.
I sent you a letter in disgust of Councillors Ashford, Cross and Grainger for not answering my email about the Woodloes Tavern.
It appears that I had misspelt Cllr Ashford’s name and used an incorrect address for the other two councillors. I have spoken to the councillors this morning who denied receiving my mail. I did not believe them, but checked my records and realised my mistake. My sincere apologies go to the councillors concerned and I regret not believing in them. - Austin Reeves, via email.
