A taxing issue

Seeing the luxurious, expensive caravans and other vehicles pictured on the front page of the Courier it looks as if the travellers have sufficient finance to buy houses so that trespassing on other people’s property should not be necessary. If they did buy houses they would have to pay council and other taxes to help finance schooling, hospitals and their other needs like most other people.

I hope that travellers have to submit verifiable tax returns and comply with DVLA requirements like the majority of us. - J. Johnson, Leamington
