Miss Anderson, a post-graduate student at Warwick University, said: “Parkinson’s UK is a fantastic charity that’s close to my heart so when I heard about the event I knew I wanted to be part of it and raise funds to support their vital work.”

Every hour someone in the Uk is told they have Parkinson’s and one in 20 is under the age of 40.

There are about 100 people with Parkinson’s in Leamington.

Parkinson’s UK brings patients, and their families and carers together through its network of social groups, its website and its confidential helpline.

Specialist nurses, supporters and staff provide information and training on every aspect of the neurological disease.

The charity is leading the work to find a cure.
