Masked intruders attack man at Hatton Park home

Masked intruders broke into a home in Hatton Park yesterday (Monday) and attacked a man with a baseball bat.

The man required hospital treatment and his pet dog had to undergo treatment at the vets following the incident, which occured at the house in Mollington Grove at around 11pm.

Up to five masked intruders forced entry to the house and threatened the occupants, then struck one of them, a 48-year old man, with what is believed to have been a baseball bat.

The man was taken to Warwick Hospital where he received treatment for lacerations to his head.

The intruders fled from the house empty handed.

Police would like to hear from anyone living in Mollington Grove or the adjoining roads in Hatton Park, who may have seen anything suspicious or out of the ordinary at around 11pm on Monday night.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV cameras overlooking Mollington Grove or the adjoining roads.
