Officers attended a property in Shipston but when the man wanted for questioning did not come out of the house, a police drone was used to monitor his home.

Some time later a man then allegedly then ran out of the house waving an eight-inch kitchen knife at officers - before continuing into Shipston town and waving the knife at members of the public.

He then ran back to his house where he locked himself inside for around an hour.

The man eventually came out and was arrested.

He was charged with assault of a girl, assault of another female during July 2016 and possession of a knife in a public place. He will appear at Warwick Crown Court on September 8.
