Man rescued from house fire in south Warwickshire village
Fire crews rescued a man from a house fire in Burton Dassett.
Two crews were called to the bungalow in the Prebend in the village following reports of the fire, which had started in the kitchen, at around 6.40pm on Thursday.
An ambulance also attended to treat an elderly gentleman who was suffering from smoke inhalation. He was taken to Warwick Hospital for further treatment.
It took the crews an hour to extinguish the fire.
