Man crashes and dies on A46

At about 11pm a police officer came across the blue Volkswagen Passat and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

It is believed he may have become ill at the wheel before the collision occurred.

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who saw the Passat and the way it was being driven before it collided with the barrier.
