Man charged with two robberies

A 22-year-old man has been charged with two robberies and an attempted robbery which took place in the Leamington area on Saturday.

Sean James Andrew Tressler, of no fixed address, was arrested in connection with two robberies that are both believed to have occurred in Campion Terrace when a handbag, shopping and mobile phone were stolen and an attempted robbery near the Crown Way shops in Lillington.

He was arrested on Sunday and appeared at Leamington Magistrates Court today (Tuesday) where he was remanded in custody to appear at Warwick Crown Court on Tuesday February 4.
