Man charged with attempted murder of a Warwickshire police officer

Marijus Kaminskis, of Porchester Street, was charged after an incident in Newbold Pacey on Wednesday afternoon.

The defendant appeared before magistrates at Leamington today (Friday), where he was remanded in custody to next appear at Warwick Crown Court in Leamington on Wednesday September 5.

The officer has received hospital treatment and has since returned to duty.
