Leamington students’ charity skydive in aid of tsunami victims
TWO Leamington students will be making a skydive in aid of a Whitnash charity helping victims of the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami.
Sarah Coad and Lydia Clewes hope to raise £3,000 through the Support Sri Lanka Foundation to repair the roof of the Little Friends nursery in Galle.
The charity’s co-founder Nicki Farthing said: “The children can only use half the building while the other half is open to the elements. Not only is this a dangerous environment it is also damaging their limited equipment.”
