Leamington park could be closed off to users each summer

Should Warwick District Council’s plans to allow Bowls England to take over the park for bowls championships each summer, this space would be filled with caravans, gazebos and other equipment for the players for four weeks between July and September for three years running from 2014.
A report and video which includes interviews with members of campaign group, Friends of Victoria Park - who are opposed to the plans, will be published online later on today, while there will also be a report on the issue in this Friday’s Courier.
