Leamington Comic Con: see our slideshow of the event
Superheroes and villains were among those who attended the first ever Leamington Comic Con at the Pump Room on Saturday.
Batman, Superman, The Joker and Poison Ivy were all there to enjoy the various events and activities, which included talks by publishers illustrators and authors, a magician, a cosplay competition and a visit from Star Wars costuming group the UK Garrison.
Almost 1,000 comic book fans came along to show their support for the event, which was launched thanks to the efforts of self confessed Transformers nerd Dan Mallier who encouraged others to raise £1,800 in crowd funding in order for it to take place.
