Imagination wanted for a kids’ take-over of Kenilworth Castle

Crank up your imagination and take over Kenilworth Castle as English Heritage opens up auditions for its very first Child Executive Officer.

The charity is reaching out to children to take on the position to help add a new exciting element to its heritage sites.

Auditions will be held at the town castle with the first task being to make their wishes come true - be it a castle sleepover, leading a Roman army to battle, or locking their dad in a dungeon.

The CEO will provide a kid’s eye view on English Heritage’s summer events alongside a Round Table of six children.

Emily Sewell, head of events said: “We are looking for someone imaginative, who can be a kids’ champion, and play their part in bringing history to life.”
