Hairdressers are taking part in Myton Hospice’s Moonlight Walk

Staff from Vogue International, in Tavistock Street have signed up for the charity’s Moonlight Walk event, which starts at Warwick Castle at 10pm.

Salon owner Liz Usher is a keen supporter of the hospice, having raised more than £3,000 for the cause through various fundraising activities in recent years.

Mrs Usher said: “Myton Hospice is such a wonderful place.

“My mum was there eight years ago and last year my dad was there.

“We were able to let the staff care for him while we spent quality time together.”

The ladies only event, sponsored by Bravissimo, includes an eight-mile circular walk, entertainment from Touch FM and a zumba warm-up class.

Registration costs £10 and entrants are asked to raise as much money in sponsorship as possible.

Last year’s event raised more than £70,000 for the cause.
