Group has had frolics and fun

VILLAGERS are almost half way towards their two-year fundraising target to pay for the renovation of their church.

Frolic, the Friends of Long Itchington church, has organised various events throughout the year including a Victorian tea party, a jazz barbecue and a concert.

The group has raised £50,000 toward the work on the Holy Trinity church with the aim of having fun while putting the historic building at the heart of the community and ensuring it is a viable venue for future generations.

More events are planned for the next 12 months.
