Further charges in scrap dealer murder

TWO more men have been charged with the murder of a scrap dealer whose body was believed to have been dumped in Warwickshire.

The body of father-of-three Jesse Richards, of Surrey, who was kidnapped and killed in July 2009, has still not been found. Chesterton Windmill near Harbury was among the sites police have searched in attempts to find his remains.

A 49-year-old and 27-year-old, both from Coventry, have been charged this week and are due to appear at Birmingham magistrates court via videolink today (Wednesday).

A third man, aged 29 from Nuneaton, has been charged with perverting the course of justice in connection with Mr Richard’s disappearance.

Last month Jospeh Doe, 36, of Southminster in Essex, and David Butler, 25, of Colnbrook, Slough in Berkshire, were charged with the murder of Mr Richards, who was 41 at the time of his disappearance. They are due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court in May.
