Fundraising walk for group
RARELY do ramblers experience the round of applause for their efforts that one Warwick man did when he completed a ten-mile hike recently.
John Gillett walked from his house in Woodloes to Kenilworth Castle and then on to Hatton Country World last week to raise money for the Warwick and Leamington Stroke Support Group.
Mr Gillett, who was accompanied on the walk by his friend John Herman, suffered a stroke five years ago.

Hide AdGroup members applauded the men when they arrived at Hatton Craft Centre.
The walk raised about £400 for the cause.
The group’s next meeting will take place at the usual venue of Chandos Court in Leamington next Friday from 10am to noon.
